Founded in 2018, Asia Pacific Exchange (APEX) is a derivatives exchange regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). It is the third derivatives exchange with the “Approved Exchange” and “Approved Clearing House” licenses in Singapore after Singapore Exchange Derivatives Trading (SGX) and ICE Futures Singapore.

In May 2022, APEX will be launching the Bitcoin Monthly Futures Contract. This is one of the few regulated and cash-settled Bitcoin Monthly Futures contract offered by a regulated derivatives exchange in Asia Pacific. APEX aims to provide a regulated, reliable and efficient trading venue for institutional investors dealing in cryptocurrencies.
